Their engagement session unfolded like a slow, cinematic waltz across red velvet aisles and quiet hotel corridors, each frame drenched in story and soul. And I got to be the one behind the lens, capturing it all.

The Story:

Sarahgrace and Eli aren’t just any couple—they’re stagehands by day, romantics by nature. They met working in the heart of theater, and their love feels like something pulled from a script written under a chandelier. So of course, when it came time for their engagement shoot, we didn’t go to a meadow or mountaintop. We went home—to their world. The Barter Theatre and The Martha Washington Hotel were more than just backdrops. They were characters in the story.

Wrapped in soft light and sharper shadows, the two moved through the velvet rows and gilded frames like they’d always belonged there. We paused in the theater seats, danced on the stage, and turned well-worn props into perfect photo companions.

The Magic Moments:

We placed a ring in a copy of Midsummer Night’s Dream (because obviously), and I watched Sarahgrace absolutely glow as Eli read over her shoulder. Every scene had intention. Every shot was soaked in something real. And the final photos? Honestly, they feel like stills from a movie I’d happily rewatch.
