Some shoots feel like art.

This one felt like a revelation.

Emma came into my studio carrying more than a wardrobe of flowing gowns and glittering fabrics—she came holding years of motherhood, moments of self-sacrifice, and a spark inside her chest that said, “It’s time for me now.”

She told me she wanted to get out of her comfort zone.

What I saw was a woman stepping into her galaxy.

Every image from this session was a transformation.

The way the moons shimmered on her dress. The way stardust clung to her hair like a halo. The way she held that glowing disco ball—like it was the whole world, and she was finally the one spinning it.

There’s a kind of magic that happens when a woman gives herself permission to be more.

Not just a mother. Not just a caretaker.

But a cosmic force. A dreamer. A muse.

A star, in every sense of the word.

Emma’s portraits are full of light—but they also hold shadow.

And I think that’s what makes them real.

Because rediscovering yourself isn’t just sparkles and satin… it’s raw. It’s brave.

It’s closing your eyes and remembering what you were made of—long before the world told you to shrink.

So this is for Emma.

For every woman who’s felt too much or not enough.

For the parts of you that still believe in magic,

even when your feet are tired and your hands are full.

You are allowed to be art.

And sometimes, the universe gives you a dress covered in stars

just to remind you.

Also the woman who owns the studio messaged me “Girl when I say I am so OBSESSED with this shoot I mean it! I’m genuinely so impressed by your creativity” Which really made my day :’)
